Description
- Hardox 400:
An all-around, moderately hard wear-resistant steel suitable for general industrial use with excellent toughness, bendability, and weldability.
Offers increased hardness (50 HBW more than AR 400) and wear resistance, providing better dent protection and longer service life for versatile applications.
A higher hardness steel for more challenging wear environments, commonly used in high-performance truck bodies and earth-moving equipment.
Specifically designed for heavy wear, providing an additional 50 Brinell hardness over conventional 500 HBW steels for increased wear life, often replacing manganese steel castings.
- Used in the most demanding wear conditions, such as in mining, recycling, and areas with extreme abrasion, offering superior wear resistance.
